Lemon Pepper Stripped Bass

1 large Striped bass fillet (approx 16oz)

large lemon

1 tsp whole pepper corns

1 pint heavy cream

2 cups white wine

6 cloves smashed garlic

2 TBS butter

2 TBS olive oil

salt / pepper


In large deep frying pan with lid, add oil, garlic, and butter.  Cut bass fillet into four equal sections, then salt and pepper each side.  Place bass fillets in heated oil on medium heat for 3 minutes or until cooked half way through.  Flip fillets over, and add wine, thinly sliced lemons, and whole black peppers simmer over medium heat foe 5 minutes.  In small sauce pan add cream and heat slowly until simmers, the stir into frying pan with fish.   Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.

Serving suggestions: 2 cups white rice and steamed brocolie and garlic.

Feeds 4 people on a diet.
