4 mahi steaks

2 cloves garlic

¼ stick of butter

1 TBS Olive Oil

¾ cup of Balsamic vinegar

½ cup of water

½ cup brown sugar

4 TBS lemon juice



Preheat over at 350 degrees and heat sauté pan over medium to high flame.   Once pan is hot add 1/8 stick of butter, crush garlic cloves, and olive oil.  Salt and pepper both side of Mahi and add to sauté pan for 45 seconds each side, or until seared.  Remove from sauté pan and place into baking dish and place in 350 over with remaining butter for 15 minutes.  While the fish is in the oven, add Balsamic, Water, sugar, and lemon juice to sauce pot.  Over a medium flame cook until mixture reduces to a syrup consistency, stirring frequently.  Plate fish and drizzle with reduction.   Serve over rice with your favorite vegetable.
